The School Forest at Vejen is a 3.5 hectare nature area that contains an aboretum with 52 different trees.
The area also includes a small willow forest, mixed small forests and examples of marginal planting. There are wide grass-cut paths around the area, and there are smaller hills. At the entrance to the area, blacksmith and Viking houses have been built and 4 shelters as well as campfire sites. The area is used for teaching primarily primary school pupils etc. Admission is free.
