Cultural and natural history. Enjoy the fantastic scenery from the terrace or go into the Hakkehuset.
Hakkehuset is suitable for a break on the Red Hiking Route, Rugballe Mose, or if you walk the Hærvej route.
A house that was previously used to chop fish into pieces before they were used to feed trout in the fish farm. You can see the hoe used: The Esbjerg chopper and the three posters that tell about Grejsådalen's unique nature, tell about the colossal amounts of spring lime that were dug in the area and about the three fish farms that were located here in the 1950s.
The house and the place are always open and are under the protection of the visitors.
There is no waste bin set up. We ask everyone to bring their own waste when leaving the place. Use of barbecue and open flame not allowed.
There are toilets at Skovdallund and Abrahamsen's Farm.
Card tables from the three parking spaces show the way.
Hakkehuset was established on a private initiative by the owners of the place: Bent Nielsen and Karl Kr. Terkelsen, Jelling.
