One of the most beautiful churches in Himmerland, worth a visit for the whole family.
A beautiful mosaic was installed in the church's east window in 2004. It was created by the artist Erik Heide, inspired by the Baptism in the Jordan River.
The impressive baptismal font dates back to 1937, carved by Christian Andersen from an old road roller.
Inside the church, a mighty crucifix from the 15th century is displayed, uniting the suffering and triumphant Christ, with the cross itself adorned with a gilded crown. A tombstone in beautiful blue slate serves as a slab on the altar, and a runic stone stands in the churchyard. The church is usually open during daytime from Monday to Saturday.
