Byens Brød og Café

In the café at Byens Brød og Café on Nørregade in Vejen, you can enjoy freshly baked bakery bread, baked from scratch with good ingredients and lots of love. We have freshly made sandwiches, delicious warm toasts and sausage rolls and are happy to butter a bun or one of our well-known stone oven pieces. which you can either enjoy in the cozy café or take with you.

The café's menu offers many varieties of coffee, tea and hot chocolate – with the possibility of refilling at a reduced price. The bakery's bread is baked with plenty of time as one of the ingredients and with fresh ingredients. The selection of breads and cakes varies according to the season. Byens Brød was no. 2 at the Danish championships in rye bread in 2017.  

If you are hungry for cake and need a rest, Byens Brød og Café offers delicious cakes and lovely freshly brewed coffee and tea, and you can choose to sit down in the soft chairs in the cozy corner and have a real pastry experience and relax for a while before the trip continues.  cozy décor in a modern style, and a nice place to settle down and rest your legs and feet after a shopping trip in Vejen town or a visit to Vejen Art Museum.

Byens Brød og Cafe opens as early as 5.30 am, so you can have your breakfast with freshly brewed coffee very early. The café is located together with the shop, and is one of the first places with food that you meet as a Hærvej tourist when you come north into Vejen.
