The track in Vejen is currently a signpost between Vejen town centre and Vejen Sports Centre and the folk high school town of Askov.
The track itself is a red line, which is painted on paths, pavements and roads and up and down posts. The trail is provided with small thought-provoking inspirations along the way. It can be good life advice that is provided by local citizens and written in 30 cm high letters. It may be verses written by Grundtvig who helped create the folk high school movement, in which Askov Folk High School played a significant role. It can be "stamps" with weaving patterns from the weaving school in Askov reinterpreted by folk high school and primary school students from local schools. The track is the first step towards a more coherent and eventful urban area through Vejen town with themes such as Movement, Folk High School Formation, Borderland and Industrial City.
In the VisitVejen App, you can find a digital guide that shows in detail via GPS positions where the Trail in the Road goes. You find the app where you otherwise download apps, and look under Attractions and then on the menu item Exciting city walks.
