Vejen Bystrand

In the middle of Vejen town you can find a nice little beach, Vejen Bystrand, in the summer months. 

Next to a shallow fountain, delicious white sand is spread out, so you can throw off your sandals and enjoy dipping your toes in both water and sand. There is room for movement and creative expression. 

If you arrive early enough, you can get a seat in the beach chairs or on the hanging sofa. Café N right next door serves up cool drinks for a hot day. In the shops nearby, you can buy swimwear, water toys and a good book to read while enjoying the city sun or the shade from the parasols. 

The city beach is located in the middle of the City Hall Square between shops and cafes, and serves as a small oasis in the middle of the city's shopping opportunities. 

If you come as a Hærvej hiker, there is the opportunity to get a much-needed rest, and you are welcome to cool your wrists or feet in the water art.
