The area around Danhostel Jels contains scenic surroundings, as well as a route of about 4 km that guides you through their beautiful and idyllic forest around Jels Midtsø.
If you are not into scenic hikes, you will find one of Denmark's most beautiful lakes, where you are free to swim or sail a boat, This is possible both in summer and winter.
We recommend experiencing our sunny terrace where you have the opportunity to enjoy a cup of freshly ground coffee or a good glass of wine. If you have forgotten your sunscreen for the warm rays of the sun or need some shade, it is also possible to enjoy delicious drinks in our inviting foyer.
><It is not possible to cook yourself, as we do not have a guest kitchen - but in our living room you can enjoy your own food, or buy the dish of the day in our atmospheric restaurant. The living room has a microwave where you can heat a meal, as well as a minibar. Danhostel Jels is located a stone's throw from two grocery stores.
When you stay at Danhostel Jels, you have free access to our modern gym and hall (if not in use for e.g. competitions)
