Sottovento – the Italian restaurant in Blokhus since 1996 is owned and run by Astrid Kjølberg & the sarder Bruno Mocci, who after a career in Italy and London have settled in this sunny spot in Denmark.

The restaurant exudes Italian atmosphere, and the place is the obvious setting for a dinner for two, a family on an outing, the company party as well as the birthday party, anniversary or any other festive occasion.

Our staff warmly welcomes our guests and we always provide professional and attentive service in multiple languages. The staff is Danish and Italian, and the atmosphere is good with room for humor.

The menu is full of classic Italian temptations such as pizza, pasta dishes, meat dishes and seafood – always served in tasty and generous dishes and prepared with care and love. Our wine menu also offers a wide selection of delicious Italian and Sardinian wines.

Sottovento is located high up with a view of the beacon, Blokhus town, the wide beach and the North Sea. Enjoy our well-prepared food with a good glass of wine in our cozy rooms or on our beautiful terrace.
