Shelters ved Slotsgaarden, Jels

Close to the Hærvej route in the town of Jels is Slotsgaarden, where you can spend the night in a shelter close to the city. 

In the outdoor area of Slotsgaardens Bed and Breakfast close to Jels Nedersø, two new shelters have just been built. They have room for 3 people, and you just need to roll out your sleeping bag on one of the thick mattresses, and then you can rest after a day's hike on the Ancient Road or after a day at Jels Søbad.

It is possible to arrive during the day, the host couple is working from home. 

There is access to indoor kitchen facilities and there are good shopping opportunities in Jels town, so you have the opportunity to cook dinner. Shared toilet and access to washing machine and dryer for a fee. 

At the site there is a fenced fender, and you must bring your own feed. 

There will often be guests on site, as it is usually run as a bed and breakfast place.
