Hvide Bænk ved Jels Midtsø

Enjoy views of the Jels Lakes from the bench. Close to Jels Voldsted. 

Hvide Bænk is a white wooden bench from which there is the most beautiful view of Jels Midtsø. 

You will meet the bench and the beautiful view if you park at Jels Voldsted and follow the path north of the lake. The path splits shortly before it meets Over Jelsvej. And in this branch - a little up the hill - there is the bench. 

In 2018, the Danish Nature Agency and local enthusiasts re-established the viewpoint and bench. You are welcome to sit down and enjoy the view. 

Distance to the Hærvej route: you must leave the hike shortly after you have crossed Koldingvej - and walk past Jels Voldsted, continue along the path and you will meet the White Bench approx. 800 m. from the route.
