Authentic Italian delicacies in Aalborg's beautiful old buildings
In Brix Gaard you will find the small Roman delicatessen La Bottega, which has its own bakery and from where you can order food, homemade delicacies and butcher specialties from the butcher & kitchen in Gistrup out of the house. At La Bottega you will also find Italian oils, homemade Italian ice cream and fresh pasta and much more.
Behind the small deli in the heart of Aalborg is first and foremost the well-known Roman chef in Aalborg, Carlo Liberati, who as a very young man back in the 1990s had great success with his "no nonsense" Mamma kitchen at "Il Mulino" at Cimbertyren. Since then, he has made his mark as an Italian chef and restaurateur in several places in the city, including Rosdahls, Limfjordshotellet and most recently Cupo.
