Vild med vilje spot - Hærvejshuset Bække

Close to the Ancient Road route and the Ancient Road House in Bække is a small wild-will-have. 

The idea behind the little wild on purpose garden in Bække is to give both bees and Hærvej guests a good place to eat. The bees can feast on nectar from the various flowers and fruits, while Hærvej guests on foot and by bike just have to go into the supermarket first. On the other hand, there is a bench to sit on. The two large beds with insect-friendly flowers are arranged so that there is something to eat for the insects and hiding places in winter. The garden helps to increase biodiversity in an urban area, and it is an offshoot of the nationwide initiative with Wild with Will, which started in 2021.

You will meet this nature project on your Hærvej walk and bike ride when you pass through Bække town. You must turn west at Brugsen onto Vestergade and walk over to the north side. Here you will find surrounded by hedges the wild garden. There are tables-bench sets so you can sit and enjoy your food or a good break with the buzz of insects.
