Shelterplads Søengevej, Vejen

Brand new shelter site with a high deliciousness factor. Quiet, wooded and overlooking open fields. You must have bird binoculars and the bird book with you. 

The shelter site close to Vejen Å and Kongeåen with canoeing and fishing opportunities consists of two new shelters, a campfire hut and a compost toilet. The shelter site must be booked in advance, and you book the entire site, which means that you will not be sharing the site's facilities with others. The shelter site is formidably located in the shelter of wooded vegetation and with a view of open fields where lots of game roams.  The shelter site is located close to the bird area Gamst Søenge, so you will be able to see many birds. Binoculars and bird book will be obvious to take with you. And if you know a black and white bird with long red legs, there is also a permanent home for it nearby. 

The two shelters are relatively high, i.e. you can stand almost upright, and there is plenty of room for luggage. Both shelters are equipped with mosquito nets, which can be used as needed. 

The campfire hut has nice benches around the fireplace, and in a locker that you get a lock code for when you book. There you can find practical equipment for a good outdoor experience. There is firewood on the site, and this must be paid for via mobilepay. Information is available on site. Close to the campfire hut is a primitive refrigerator in the form of a buried milk chowder. Between the campfire hut and the shelters are two sets of tables and benches.

If you use a navigation system to find the place, you must use the address Søengevej 3. When you are physically here, you must continue along the field road approx. 300 m. It is at the address Søengevej 3 that you can fetch water.
