Galleri Visby in Lønstrup is North Jutland's largest arts and crafts gallery, where you can see exhibitions from both Danish and international artists.
Galleri Visby presents arts and crafts at an international level from a number of renowned artists from both Denmark and abroad. Here you will find works in categories such as ceramics, visual art, willow wicker, wood, jewellery and textiles. In addition, there is a selection of birch made from local herbs as well as gin and rum from Maskdestilleriet from Southern Jutland. In addition to the gallery's permanent artists, 5 times a year changing special exhibitions are presented in the old horse stable, where ceramics and visual art are typically exhibited in a beautiful union.
Galleri Visby is located in connection with ceramicist Dorte Visby's workshop in the 200-year-old barn at Mårupgård. In the middle of the magnificent, raw nature on the edge of Lønstrup Klint, and with the remains of Mårup Church just outside, the farm is - quite literally - at the interface between art and The cultural city Lønstrup, and the impressive natural landscape around Rubjerg Knude.
Come and meet us in the gallery. We are open all year round - with the exception of 1 January, 5 June and 24, 25 and 26 December.
