Boolsen's Stone Garden was founded by the author Johannes Boolsen, who between 1939 and 1973 collected more than 1,000 stones in his own garden at Bangsbostrand.
The "Garden" consists of about 1000 hewn stones from around 3000 BC to the mid-1900s. The collection includes grinding stones, mortar stones, christening fonts and holy water fonts. Founded in 1939 by the author Johs. Boolsen, who began collectiong all the stones in his garden in Bangsbostrand.
