Bangsbo Ådal, an 877 hectare habitat area southwest of Frederikshavn, is a breeding site for mountain wagtail, buzzard, green woodpecker, great spotted woodpecker, wrasse, pigeon, night owl and churn biter, etc.
Breeding ground for grey wagtails, buzzards, green and spotted woodpeckers, wrynecks, stock doves, tawny owls, hawfinches and others.
In the spring many birds rest here and birds of prey, pigeons and smaller birds fly over the valley. Many birds of prey and smaller birds also winter here.
