Funder Church is a charred ashlar church. Both the south and north portals in Romanesque style have been preserved. There is a runic inscription at the south portal. The porch was built later of squares from the former church in Engesvang.

The porch was built later of ashlar from the former church in Engesvang. Inside, there are Gothic arches throughout. The pulpit is in the late Renaissance style. The altarpiece is carved in the early Baroque style. Three pietistic hearts pictures, partially hidden behind the pulpit.
