Østre Gadekær in Dall

Dall and the surrounding area consist of only about 30 households inhabited by about 75 people. The village belongs to Aalborg Municipality and is located in Dall Parish.

Dall Church is listed and has a prominent location in the village. Before 1796, all farms and houses were located in a cluster to the south, east and north around the church and the village pond, which is shown on an older map.

In 2017, Dall Citizens' Association took the initiative to recreate part of Østre Gadekær as a gathering place for the village's citizens, but also as an open offer for wayfarers along Hærvej Route 3. The project succeeded with great local work effort and goodwill and support from the area's former owner, the foundation and Aalborg Municipality's Rural District Fund.

RULES FOR STAYING AT ØSTRE GADEKÆR:

• The park is placed under the protection of the public.
• You are welcome to use the tables/benches, cabin and shelters.
• You cannot reserve a place, - and you can stay a maximum of 2 nights.
• Barbecues and open fires are only allowed on the specially designed pitches.
• In 2022, a small Mult toilet has been installed. Normally, there is hand sanitizer, but not paper.
• Issued injunction against the use of open flames during dry periods MUST be respected!
• Bathing in or sailing on the lake is not allowed.
• Remember to leave the site in a cleaned condition.
• Use the waste racks or take your waste with you!
• Traffic and stay are at your own risk.
• Always show consideration for others on the site.
