Drostrup Lystfiskersø

Drostrup Lystfiskersø is located north of Vejen, and is a favorite place for light fishermen.

The lake is surrounded by a lot of vegetation that creates shelter and with a fishing path all around. The lake varies with bottom depths of approx. 1-2 meters. The lake was bottom cleaned in January 2014. There is a good opportunity for fishing with spinner, worm/bait and prop around the lake, and with a fly there is plenty of room for the back cast about half of the lake around.

The lake is supplied with natural groundwater as well as spring water, which is why the water quality is very good. There is a parking area directly in front of the lake and in front of the brook at the entrance to the lake. Toilet is available close to the lake. A smaller cabin with room for approx. 10 people with table and benches provides the opportunity for shelter in case of rain.

Rainbow trout in variable sizes from approx. 500 grams up to 4 kilos are regularly released into the lake. In summer, release up to 2 times a week (depending on the fishing pressure).

Cards are purchased for 1 rod and a maximum of 3 fish for 4 hours. See current prices on the fishing lake's website. 

As of August 2016, a handicap fishing spot has been built out in the lake with room for two disabled people with helpers.
