In the small village community of Tranum, Øster Han Herred's Regional Collection is located in a former smallholding. The over a hundred year old house has an exciting history where there has been, among other things, a telephone exchange, a smithy and a tailor's shop.
Today, it has been carefully renovated by the association's volunteers, who have furnished both the farmhouse and the stable for exhibitions and activities. The ceiling above the barn is newly furnished with 7 small separate exhibitions, including post office, pharmacy, hairdresser. In addition, there is a memorial room and a very beautiful church room. In the barn there is a landing where there is a living room and a small schoolroom.
