Shelter site by Lerkenfeldt Å, with room for a total of 10 people, mult toilet and fire pit, but there is no access to water.
The site is located a bit inside Himmerlandsstien and close to Lerkenfeldt Å. The Ice Age has created the landscape in Himmerland as we know it today – a moraine landscape with tundras, marshes and swamps, hills and valleys. Under the ice during the Ice Age, the meltwater formed rivers, lakes, fjords and inlets. Lerkenfeld Ådal emerged from the melting ice, and became an arm of the fjord in the middle of the beautiful West Himmerland landscape.
