Primitive tent site at Vingsted Lake.
The tent site at Vingsted Lake is located at the edge of the vegetation and facing an open area. There is access to toilets and water in the toilet building at the Iron Age environment. There is firewood at the tent site and firewood must be gathered from the forest floor in the surrounding forest. Vingsted Lake belongs to one of the country's exciting weapon sacrificial bogs from the Iron Age. On the areas down to Vingsted Lake, houses from the Iron Age have been built. Vingsted Historical Workshop operates and uses the area for teaching school classes. There is free access to the area and you are welcome to take a walk around and have a look. Remember to show consideration if there is teaching.
